Faith

  • Faith comes from hearing the Word of God: Romans 10:17 (KJV) says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
  • Faith pleases God: Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
  • Faith is counted for righteousness: Romans 4:3 (KJV) says, “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.”
  • Faith grows through trials: James 1:2-4 (KJV) says, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”
  • Faith without works is dead: James 2:26 (KJV) says, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead.”

We develop faith through:

  1. Hearing and reading scripture: Romans 10:17
  2. Praying and seeking God: Hebrews 11:6
  3. Trusting God’s promises: Romans 4:3
  4. Persevering through trials: James 1:2-4
  5. Applying faith in action: James 2:26
  6. 😊 Faith In the Bible, Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (KJV). Jesus talked about faith too, like in Matthew 17:20, “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (KJV).

  8. Faith is a gift: Ephesians 2:8-9 says faith is a gift from God, not something we achieve on our own.
  9. Faith moves mountains: Matthew 17:20 shows faith can overcome obstacles and achieve the impossible.
  10. Faith is tested: James 1:2-4 says trials test our faith, making it stronger.
  11. Faith without works is dead: James 2:26 says faith without action is useless.
  12. To benefit from faith, we should:
  13. Trust God’s promises: Believe in His goodness and faithfulness.
  14. Act on faith: Step out in obedience, like Abraham (Genesis 12:1-4).
  15. Persevere: Keep believing, even in trials (Romans 5:3-4).
  16. Share faith: Spread hope and encouragement (1 Thessalonians 1:8)

Born in 1984 both Parents Pastors live in Zimbabwe, I was a prodigal son for many years running away from my calling like Jonah but God kept me and brought me back like a lost sheep into his kraal. Was born again in the year 2000, have been up and down , through life challenges and the world of materialism, chasing after money the lost world. Studied Theology with Christian Leaders Institute and have obtained a few certificates and awards. I found Jesus in The Salvation Army church, where my Parents were Pastors. Then God spoke to me in his special way and redirected my footsteps into beginning The Covenant of Christ Ministries in 2023. Married and have 4 boys and 1 girl, currently studying for a Diploma in Christian Leadership.
